After all this SATC talk from Chels, I went into a little lull after thinking about how much I miss the girls (ahem: Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda). I thought of maybe starting to watch the whole series from beginning to end again but then I knew that would consist of me becoming a basement dweller for the next week and a half, losing all my friends and end up having to have my farewell party with me, my flatscreen and a bowl of frozen grapes.
In hopes for a better situation I decided to check out this new series... or maybe its old and I don't know about it because I was living the amazing beach life in Australia for a year (yup).
REGARDLESS, I've gone from surfing Bondi beach to surfing the channels that MTS has to offer me and I get to lovely CosmoTV which I can usually rely on to listen to Miss Bradshaw's witty one-liners. "Lipstick Jungle huh?" I thought to myself as I ran upstairs for some frozen grapes, a glass of wine and my over-the-top dressing robe for my viewing comfort.
Well, I just don't know what to say. I was pretty disappointed not going to lie. I love Brooke but I just feel like she is struggling in this one! I really wish I could say more but after the first ten minutes I flipped open my laptop, completely ignored the tv and began writing this blog. Its actually still on at the moment and I am watching a bland blonde flipping through a folder zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
Okay, maybe I am being a little harsh and am not giving it a fair chance. Maybe I should accept it for what it is and simply wait for the new SATC to fill my feminine needs.
And then i thought (long pause...) Am I trying to replace something irreplacable??
